The GRIMM (2011 - )

I have recently started watching the Grimm Series. And let me tell you from the first episode I was hooked. I like the way they make every type of legend fit a certain type of person.

It's about a detective that learns of his hidden family history and how the world really works. And about the things that goes bump in the night. He's a GRIMM.

The first season was awesome, and I'm starting to watch the second.
If you like a good a mystery and great action this is a series to watch.

Dark Angel (2000 - 2002)

This is a story about genetically-enhanced children, that escapes from a secret government lab that wants to make super soldiers.

Years later after the escape we meet Max (played by Jessica Alba) one of the escapees and she is hiding in plain sight while working at a courier service called Jam Pony. And while working there she has a night job as well...as a cat burglar, where she uses her enhanced abilities.

I like this series it's got heart, action, adventure and suspense. Where the woman are hot and the guys are hunks.

And it's totally KICK ASS! :)

Æon Flux (2005)

Æon Flux is a movie about Æon (played by Charlize Theron) an assassin that is working for a rebel group that calls themselfs Monicans, than plans to overthrough the government. When she gets the mission to kill the chairman Trevor Goodchild (played by Marton Csokas) she uncovers the truth about how the world works and about herself.

Its a very good movie and I loved the action and it's a good take on the anime series eventhough it's not entirely the same.

And the eye to the detail of the locations are fabulous and it's clean cut, no clutter and your able to see the everything.

So yeah if you're a Charlize Theron fan and you have'nt watched this... go to your local dvd rental store and get it. It's good.

Something Borrowed (2011)

Something Borrowed is my type of movie where the underdog gets to win.

It's about a girl(played by Ginnifer Goodwin) that has a friend (played by Kate Hudson) that always takes over and make her feel second to everthing. And she just goes along with it. until the night of her birthday party where she tells the guy(played by Colin Egglesfield) she liked for a long time that she liked him. Only problem is it's her best friends fiance and he has liked her before he got together with the best friend.

It's a beautiful story about love yet it's something that could happen in the real world.

But watch this it's a good movie.

Ever After: A Cinderella Story (1998)

This is a story that everyone knows or a version of it. Cinderella.

This is the "Real" story of Cinderella. This movie is a refreshing new take on one of the well known fairy tale classic. And one of my favourite movies to watch.

In this one Drew Berrymore plays Danielle aka Cinderella. She plays a gutsy one that the prince fall for because she's different than most.

If you wanted to see another cinderella story this one is next on your list to watch.

Tank Girl (1995)

Tank Girl.... oldie but goodie.

Tank Girl is a british comic that came to life on the screen. Tank Girl (Rebecca) played by Lorri Petty that also stars in ' In the army now' with Pauly Shore, was the perfect person for the role. In my opinion she was EXCELLENT!

It's a story about how the world was struck by a comet, causing an 11year drought, and the majority of the scares water is being held by the 'evil' corporation Water and Power, which uses the water to control the world population into doing what they want.

But I'm not going to tell you the entire story, since I don't  want to spoil it for you.... I am going to say this, even with the cartoon intervals in the movie (which I personally find funny) it's a good story with where good triumph over evil, what everybody likes to see.

So if you are a little 'watched-out' with today's type of movies try this oldie.

Despicable Me 2 (2013)

I went to the movies with a couple of friends today and we watched Despicable Me 2 and let me tell you it was totally awesome. It was witty and funny and the entire cinema was laughing at the jokes. The Minions were at the top of their game.

So if you have kids and you want to watch something with your kids and yet not get bored, take them to see this movie. You'll both enjoy it and be able to spend quality time together.
"Gru is recruited by the Anti-Villain League to help deal with a powerful new super criminal".
Steve Carell from the 40 year old virgin is the voice of Gru and he plays the character beautifully and so does all the other actors.

Starting of something new

This is a start of something new. Just know that I have never written a blog before and I am no writer but I wish to share my thoughts on the movies that I've watched over the years. For I love movies and tv series and love to find the best places to buy the dvd's for a good price online and in the shops.

So read and give your thoughts on the same movies. Lets enjoy the imagination that comes to life on screen.
